Question: Would the demorats shut up about the Iraq war if Bush had raised taxes like they love to do?

What if Bush hadn't cut taxes and actually raised them? Would the demorats still be carrying on about this war?

Answer: No. The democrat/progressive/liberal agenda is to wear down American society until they have achieved all of their goals. Giving in on one point just emboldens them in another. They do not believe in debate. They do not believe in compromise and they will not stop until we have a socialist society like many European countries.
