Question: tax return online?
ok i did my taxs last yr online, i got my money and everything but a few months later i received a letter, (which i cant find ) but i remember it saying something that i needed to mail it back signed well i changed jobs and well i could not find it and finally i found it online, but anyways i never did it. what can happen to me this yr when i fill my tax return, any advise on what to do? who to contact?
Answer: If the letter was from the IRS, they were looking for your 8453-OL.
Get one for 2006 at irs.gov (enter 2006 in the search box). If you no longer have your email when the tax return was acknowledged by the IRS, call the IRS and ask them to look at the efiled return and give you the temporary DCN. (It starts with 00- so if they give you a number that starts with anything else, it's the permanent number.)

What Is Form 1099-int
Question: Form 1099-INT...I'm scared...Help!!!?
Hey guys. I just got a form 1099-INT and I have no idea what it means. It says federal income tax withheld is 3.62, but I have no idea what to do with it or what I have done wrong. I have always filed my taxes and everything and I just turned 18 as well. Help please, I am having a heart attack!!!
What do I have to do with this form?
I am also a college student and I have a paid internship and an on-campus job.
Answer: The 1099-INT is a form that was sent out to you for 2007 which you will use in in conjunction with your W-2s to file your taxes. If you have K-1s, or 1099-R, or any other form with these types numbers on them , you will need those also. Any investments, banks, or stocks, IRA, or CD you will need statements on these accounts. Real Estate property, as well as Personal Property taxes you need the paid receipts also. And of course, wage stubs. KEEP THESE in a folder together until you do your taxes.
