Why Taxes Are Good

Why Taxes Are Good

Question: Obama Tax Plan. Good, Bad? Why?

I'm a neutral person when I ask this "How is doubling the capital gains tax a good idea?" Doesn't that scare the rich away who do indeed fund the country by buying stocks, paying their taxes, buy homes, sell homes etc, etc. Also "how is increasing Dividend Tax good, doesn't that hurt people in the stock market business?". The estate tax as well I heard that it will hurt farmers because their sons who will inherit the farm will have to pay 55% of the properties worth. Also, are we prepared for national health care? I don't think our country is even close to being economically savvy for this.

Answer: Sooner or later and lets hope it's sooner people are going to realize what the republicans all ready know and that is Obama is not only inexperienced but clueless and has no plan or ideas on how to fix a frigging thing he's just guessing every day and hopes they buy it but they aren't and pretty soon as things get even uglier his popularity will drop to ground zero and people will be screaming for his impeachment, right now he needs to listen to the republicans and fix the housing market asap because that's the key and forget about trying to channel money to his rat bastard friends that got him elected, man tell that fool the campaign is over and time to get real//// Biden hasn't a clue either and neither do those crooks Obama has surrounded himself with////

Why Tax The Rich

Why Tax The Rich

Question: When someone asks a question about the rich getting tax breaks Why are they assumed to be poor?

The society I want to live in provides a good public education, good military defense, good roads and other public services. These things don't come cheap. I've gotten many benefits from this society why shouldn't I pay more? Why should the middle and working class be taxed beyond their means. This is what WILL happen if the rich and upper middle get more breaks.

Answer: Well what would make it fair would be major corporations stop getting tax breaks when they outsource jobs, If companies truly paid their fair share of taxes the burden would not be so great on the american people.

Do Tax Cuts Increase Revenue

Do Tax Cuts Increase Revenue

Question: How does cutting taxes actually increase tax revenue?

Answer: It increases revenue because it leaves more money in the hands of the consumers who spend it, and the stores that they spend it at have to hire more people and the manufacturers that provide the goods bought have to hire more people, and those people who are working at the stores and manufacturers are taxed bringing in more revenue than was lost by lowering the rate.

If you read a good macroeconomics book, they will describe this and talk about the money multiplier or speed of money. Each dollar that the government does not take is actually spent 3 to 6 times so it is worth $3-$6 toward the gross national product and those $3 to $6 are also taxed raising revenue even though the rate is lower.

It has worked for every major tax cut but one since it was used by John Kennedy in the early 1960s.

How Much Are The Rich Taxed

How Much Are The Rich Taxed

Question: If Obama taxes rich over $100,000 a year how much will our taxes go down?

I see a lot of rich people driving Mercedes and BMW's and living the good life while the rest or us struggle.

How much is our tax break per year going to be if we make near $27,000?
Right now i just found out that the 15% tax bracket extends to a couple making up to $82, 700.

I am in the 10% tax. How much less will I pay?

Answer: Nothing. You must look at the bigger picture. Beyond the tax brackets, Obama supports increased capital gains and windfall profit taxes for corporations. With these taxes, companies will pay more for the more that they produce or expand. Guess who REALLY pays these taxes... the consumer. Carter carried out a similar plan in the 1970's resulting in double-digit inflation and unemployment rates. If you think people are hurting now, you should take a look at life back then. Funny thing though, the corporations who were meant to be punished, came out untouched at the expense of the consumer.

I was in the 15% tax bracket last year, and am in the 10% bracket this year, because I decided to quit work and go back to school. I realize, and you should too, that "rich" people are fortunate most often because of good decisions they have made and hard work. Why should the government punish success? That is socialism. Instead, history has proven that economies thrive, not on taxes, but when governments foster and reward success of individuals. Without the rich and corporations, who would employ and pay and provide health benefits for everyone else. No, it isn;t always fair, but it ALWAYS works.

Taxable Capacity

Question: Obama lowering taxes of some increasing taxes of the rich...?

For all Obama supporters, his tax policy sounds incredible right and fair. Those who make more have to pay more. Sounds ideal...

However, I wonder if Obama supporters have considered the fact that rich people have the capacity to afford lawyers and skillful accountants to blend law in convenient ways and pay the minimum?

Have Obama supporters considered that his tax policy will increase corruption????
Have Obama supporters considered that people will find ways to fool the system and pay less??? They can split the company into smaller non-taxable ones, they can borrow names to look like smaller tax payers, you name it! They WILL find ways not to pay.

Rich people always find ways to spend less, pay less, and gain more. They are smart! They know how to use the system in their favor.

This means that Obama would not be getting from the rich the amount of taxes he expects, and worst of all, CORRUPTION would increase.

What do you think?

Answer: How about that ...Nice huh?
