What Do Tax Managers Do

Question: Is it true that apartment complex managers are given money by the government to rent to welfare and illegals?
and they are trying to get rid of law abiding, hard working middle class people? I heard if 50% of the occupants are illegals immigrants and/or on welfare, the managers not only get the rent, they get huge tax breaks. To attain this 50% level, they will discriminate against you and me.
Who can I call to sue the landlord for illegal discrimination against legal americans?
Answer: You've nothing to worry about.
The amount of landlords accepting this arrangement in fairly minuscule compared to the total amount of managers (owners, actually). In order to qualify for this arrangement (know as Section 8, a provision under Housing and Urban Development) the owner MUST bring the building (and all apartments, etc.) up to code, and there would be regular, systematic inspections to see that such buildings stay up to code. Thus, each and every tiny little thing breaking or malfunctioning must be repaired in short order.
Many, many owners do not wish to have this close a relationship with a government agency.
The feds don't tolerate the use of bribery as a means to protecting and perpetuating the presence of illegal immigrants, that's just plain dumb.

What Is Income Tax Used For

Question: What does income tax pay for? Is it used to pay for interest on our national debt?
Just curious. I know it never recieved enough voted to actually be amended then the government just started taxing us anyway.
No sorry your wrong wayne. And do you think I care what my english on YA looks like? I def don't so please next time just answer the question asked.
Answer: First, The federal income tax is unconstitutional because it is not apportioned as the Constitution clearly states all taxes must be. Second, the 16th Amendment was never ratified according to the procedures as set forth in the Constitution. Third, the income tax (when you read the law) only applies to businesses and corporations. There is nothing in the law that requires an individual to pay a personal income tax.
The distinction is in legal wording. Income is a legal word that applies to business profits. Earnings is a legal word that applies to wages, etc. based on an individuals labor.
Even the IRS's own documents substantiate this fact. The IRS clearly states that the income tax, as it applies to an individual, is a voluntary tax. Furthermore, under IRS regulations, it states that the IRS has the authority to seize business property and assets. It has no power to seize personal property or assets.
But if other people want to keep paying taxes that they have no legal need to pay then they can keep paying. The IRS won't stop them.
Yes, the amount of revenue that the IRS generates each year, based on the taxation of personal income, fails to pay for anything in the Federal government budget aside from interest on the national debt. Any monkey can see that this has been the case since the income tax and the federal reserve came into existence with each budget year.

How Many Years To Keep Taxes

Question: how many years do I have to keep my tax records (california) state?
i got a letter saying I owed taxes from 1994 ??
Answer: My guess is that you did not file your income tax for 1994, and the IRS had record of you having income then.
There are statutes of limitations, but they only start if you file your taxes. If you still have the records, file and pay. If you don't have the records, request the IRS sent you all their "income-W2 and 1099" documents so you can file and pay.
Another possible case is that you filed, but under-reported your income. If it was more than by 25%, they can pursue fraud. If this is the case, you need a tax lawyer (not CPA or EA, even though these might be better choices overall for tax preparation and representation) because you could be criminally liable.
As far as advice on how long to keep tax documents, some advisers say three years (because that the the statute for receiving a refund, and the IRS will usually contact you within that time if there is a problem), some say 7 years, and some say 10 years (that is the statute the IRS has for collecting tax). None of that would have worked for you.
Another way of looking at it, you need to keep the documents as long as it is an issue. If you have a house or rental income, that could be 30 years or more. If you file a 1040EZ, you might not need them more than a year or two for loans and grants.

This past week at the White House Job Summit you said it was time to “take every responsible step to accelerate job creation” and that you were “not interested in taking a wait and see approach.” I applaud your recognition that we need bold, direct action.
