Question: What do you think would happen if...?

this PSA (link below) was aired in the U.S.?

I bet a lot of people would claim, I don't want my tax dollars being spent to promote the 'homosexual agenda,' a la Anita Bryant and her now-impotent belief system.

However, tax dollars are not spent with individual's interest in mind; they are (supposedly) spent with the public's good in mind. In my state of IL, former Gov. Blagojevich authorized the construction of a 10 mile interstate extension with taxpayer dollars, although, such an extension probably only benefits, at most, 20% of the state's population and approximately the same in terms of interstate and intrastate commerce.

Anyways, I personally think that there is a public good served by this announcement. What do you all think?

Also, the end says something to the effect of "It's okay to be gay." There is an English version, but I believe my tag is of the Norweigen-language version.

Answer: I like it... I have no idea what the "homosexual agenda" is other than equality, and to me, equality is a common sense requirement in society now a days...
