Question: Help , I don't know If i filed a tax return , where can i get that information?
I am 25 years old now. i have been thru some emotional trauma recently and just starting to take responsibilities
Do i have a tax return ? how does work , who can i contact to know if i filed anything ( because in past years i have heard my mom and dad talk about tax returns and stuff and i was never included in any of it ) Now i wanna do it myself ..
But no clue where to startwhat age does Filing tax returns starts ??
Answer: If you think you should have filed but don't know if you did, you can call the IRS and ask them.
It's not a matter of age, it's whether you have income. If you didn't work and don't have any other income, then there's nothing to file a tax return on. A tax return is a form you send to the government showing your income and what tax you owe. If you've already paid in too much, then you get a refund, otherwise you pay what you still owe.
