What Are Trust Fund Taxes

What Are Trust Fund Taxes

Question: What's taking Al Franken, Pelosi, Kerry, Dodd, etc to raise their own taxes & have an 80% inheritance tax?

... for rich Dems like themselves and the Kennedy's?

Those people use trust funds are rarely pay inheritance taxes.

Why don't these Dems voluntarily pay a 70% income tax to Uncle Sam so "needy" people can get more help and so 0bama can redistribute their wealth?
(sorry... what's taking them so long)

Answer: The Democrats have proposed many times making changes to the inheritance tax and the Republicans always refuse no matter how high the limit is.

It is amazing that you want them to pay taxes but your own party refuses to even tell the truth or vote in the best interest of the country. The reason we need an estate tax is because otherwise you get dynasties (Bush for example).

Even Warren Buffet agrees that we need a high inheritance tax.

"Without the estate tax, you in effect will have an aristocracy of wealth, which means you pass down the ability to command the resources of the nation based on heredity rather than merit,' Warren Buffett told the New York Times in 2001. '[Repeal would be like] choosing the 2020 Olympic team by picking the eldest sons of the gold-medal winners in the 2000 Olympics."

More than ten years in the making, and supported by the twin pillars of extensive research and more than ...
