Is Welfare Taxable

Question: I hate like heck to ask anyone a personal question but--?
If you have to go on Welfare, can you keep cable and your internet? I am permanently disabled and that's the ONLY entertainment I can get! Also how do you pay for taxable items like: soda, toilet paper, cat food, paper towels, etc. PLEASE ONLY SERIOUS ANSWERS TO ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN THERE OR IS THERE CURRENTLY, and any information you may be able to give me would also be very helpful. I only get $705/mo. from SS disability, but right now I have a small savings account-but it's sure going fast. PLEASE HELP ME! THANKS TO ALL OF YOU AND GOD BLESS!
Answer: Dear Julie
Yes you can keep your net , Cable & phone .
You have to choose which is more enhancing for your life .
It comes out of your food allowance so if you are a shut in , I would choose NET if that was your sole entertainment as long as you bought food first & had the extra money left for NET .
