Highest Tax Bracket

No one wants to be in the highest tax bracket because if you are in the highest tax bracket then it means you will be paying the IRS a lot of money. Therefore, it is good to know what the highest tax bracket is at least for your peace of mind.

Referring to the Tax Bracket Chart, the higest tax bracket was at 35%.

Two higher tax brackets (36% and 39.6%) were added in 1993, and then taxes in all brackets were lowered in 2001 through 2003 as follows:
